Holy Week

Palm Sunday  8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Our Palm Sunday, our service begins with a Palm Procession celebrating Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem.  At the time of the Gospel reading, the tone shifts to one of the most solemn occasions in the church year as the congregation participates in a dramatic reading of Jesus' arrest, trial and crucifixion.

Maundy Thursday   7:00 p.m.

Maundy Thursday begins the three holiest days of the church year.  On this day, we remember Christ's servanthood and command to love one another as we participate in the ritual of footwashing.  After the Eucharist, the altar is stripped bare and we hear the reading of Christ's agony in the garden.  At the close of the service, the people leave in silence.

good Friday

Beginning at 5:00 p.m., a priest will be available for the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession)

The Good Friday Liturgy begins at 7:00 p.m. and will include the Stations of the Cross.

Easter Vigil  Saturday 10:30 p.m.

This service begins outside with the kindling of the new fire and the lighting of the Paschal Candle.  The people follow the Light of Christ into the dark church for the exsultet and hearing the record of God's saving deeds in history.  We then renew our baptismal vows.  The service concludes with the Easter Acclamation and the first Eucharist of Easter.

Easter Sunday  10:30 a.m.   (One Service!!!)

At 10:30 a.m. we will celebrate the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ, with a service of Holy Eucharist.  After the service we will gather for a potluck and have an Easter Egg Hunt for children of all ages.
